2. Nella finestra che si apre, fare clic sull’applicazione “Sitejet Builder” per installarla.

3. Automaticamente si aprirà la finestra per scegliere un modello da utilizzare per la costruzione del proprio sito web.

4. Una volta scelto il modello (es. in questa guida “LumeDeAqua”), è possibile modificare il sito direttamente nel modello scelto. Si può scegliere se salvare ogni singola modifica, visualizzare l’anteprima (per tutti i tipi di dispositivi), modificare il design e le singole pagine del sito, ecc.
   Una volta effettuate tutte le modifiche, per rendere visibile il sito, bisognerà cliccare in alto a destra su “Pubblica” (evidenziato in rosso).

5. Il sito è adesso visibile. Per effettuare eventuali modifiche bisognerà accedere sempre al pannello di controllo Plesk, cliccare sulla nuova voce “Sitejet Builder” che compare nella sezione “Siti Web e Domini” e procedere con le modifiche.
   Una volta terminato, ricordati di cliccare su “Pubblica” per rendere effettive le modifiche realizzate.

phpBB: è un software open source forum altamente personalizzabile. Il pannello di amministrazione di phpBB permette la personalizzazione anche delle caratteristiche più complesse senza dover modificare direttamente il codice; inoltre, phpBB può essere facilmente integrato in sistemi già esistenti.  Il forum è la sezione di un sito web dedicata alla discussione con e tra utenti che presentano un interesse, o bisogno, comune. Si tratta di un’area divisa in sezioni (argomenti) e sottosezioni, a cui generalmente è necessario iscriversi per poter partecipare. Gli utenti registrati possono aprire nuove discussioni, rispondere a quelle esistenti e interagire con gli altri iscritti. La comunicazione è bidirezionale ma asincrona: se una persona fa una domanda non è detto che riceva subito una risposta. MediaWiki: è un software wiki open source che sta alla base del funzionamento di Wikipedia. In questa guida vedremo come realizzare un articolo con immagini utilizzando un editor specifico, JCE.

Prima di intervenire su JOOMLA è necessario modificare le immagini che vogliamo inserire nel nostro articolo, per dargli una forma e una dimensione adatta all’uso che vogliamo farne, utilizzando un programma come Photoshop o Paint.

Ad esempio utilizzando paint, che si trova su ogni PC, è facilissimo ridimensionare un immagine:
1 – apri paint e importa l’immagine.

2 – utilizzando lo strumento “seleziona” ritaglia la parte di immagine che ti interessa evidenziare e poi applica ritaglia (immagine 1)

3 – Ora salva la tua nuova immagine, chiudi Paint ed entra nel pannello di controllo di JOOMLA.

4 – dal pannello di controllo JOOMLA clicca su “Nuovo Articolo” e  dalla barra delle applicazione seleziona l’icona “insert/edit image” (immagine 2)

5 – si aprirà la schermata di image manager,  in basso, nella sezione folder, seleziona la cartella “eventi” quindi clicca sul tasto upload (immagine 3) e trascina l’immagine, preparata in precedenza con Paint, nel riquadro con scritto “Drop File Here” poi clicca upload.

6 – nella sezione “Dimension” vanno inseriti i dati che fanno riferimento all’altezza e alla larghezza dell’immagine, se non inseriamo nessun dato l’immagine verrà caricata con le dimensioni originali (immagine 4). Nella sezione “Alignment” seleziona Left se vuoi che l’immagine venga allineata a sinistra o Rigth se vuoi allinearla a destra dell’articolo.

7 – nella sezione “Margin” si fa riferimento al margine che ci sarà tra l’immagine e il testo, togli la spunta dal quadratino a destra se intendi modificare gli spazi o lasciala per utilizzare quelli di default. (si consiglia di lasciare uno spazio di 10px nel rigth o nel left, a seconda dell’allineamento e 6px nel bottom) (immagine 5)

8 – la sezione “Border”definisce la cornice dell’immagine. E’ possibile selezionare lo style della cornice, le dimensioni e il colore. (immagine 6)

Ora e’ possibile inserire il testo a destra o a sinistra dell’immagine.

9 – Una volta scritto quello che si vuole far visualizzare in evidenza, nella home page del sito, clicca sul tasto “Leggi Tutto” (immagine 7) poi, subito sotto la barra del leggi tutto, puoi continuare ad aggiungere testo che però verrà visualizzato solo una volta aperto l’articolo.

10 – Ora sei pronto per pubblicare il tuo articolo in evidenza! Ricorda di selezionare la Categoria e di cliccare il tasto SI della sezione “in evidenza”. (immagine 8)

Naturalmente ricordatevi di sostituire a example.com il nome del vostro dominio (e il titolo non va modificato, va lasciato quello che avete in precedenza assegnato al vostro sito).

Poi, per redirezionare al corrispondente indirizzo https tutte le richieste inviate ad http,  va aggiunto, in genere all’inizio del file .httaccess, il seguente codice all’inizio della sezione mod_rewrite, subito dopo il rigo <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>:

Ovviamente va sostituito il nomedominio (sul 2° e 4° rigo) con il proprio e l’estensione se non è com e fare magari attenzione a non scrivere 2 volte “RewriteEngine On” 

Un ultimo passaggio, non obbligatorio, andrebbe ora fatto se utilizzate Installatron. Dovreste disinstallare Installatron (ma ovviamente non WordPress) che era configurato con http:// nel percorso e poi  “importare” nuovamente WordPress in Installatron dal percorso in cui si trova però selezionando il dominio con https seguendo queste istruzioni:

1. Aprire “Dettagli” (icona chiave inglese)

2. clic su “Avanzato”

3. In fondo alla pagina selezionare la voce “Yes, remove this installed application from the Installatron system. Files, directories, and database tables will not be affected.” e salvare

A questo punto potrete riaprire le apps di Installatron, scegliere WordPress e ri-importare il vostro WordPress selezionando questa volta l’url con https.

Tantissimi utenti che utilizzano WordPress riscontrano apparentemente all’improvviso un notevole incremento del consumo di banda dei propri hosting, in un recente articolo abbiamo spiegato come fare per escludere dai visitatori del sito I “BAD BOTS” (http://help.ormag.net/risparmia-banda-tuo-sito-bloccando-i-bad-bots/618 ), cioè gli spider dei motori di ricerca che non ci interessano; per la maggior parte sono motori di ricerca di paesi asiatici e spesso con caratteri di scrittura completamente diversi da quella occidentale.

Mentre per la maggior parte dei clienti il problema risulta sensibilmente ridotto, per alcuni clienti il problema rimane, la causa sembra sia imputabile ad alcuni plugin di WordPress che contengono al loro interno elementi che permettono ad utenti non autorizzati l’accesso all’hosting in diversi modi.

Difficile fare un elenco dei plugin nè avere la certezza che un plugin in particolare sia pericoloso, andare inoltre ad analizzare il contenuto di ogni plugin risulta molto dispendioso in termini di tempo.

Interessante, quasi fondamentale, a tal proposito è la parte https://codex.wordpress.org/Hardening_WordPress non ancora tradotta però in italiano (al 14/04/2015) della più ampia sezione italiana https://codex.wordpress.org/it:Main_Page

Inoltre esiste anche un plugin stesso di WordPress che ci aiuta a mantenere sicuro il blog e che sembra che, fra le altre cose, distingua anche i plugin poco sicuri.

L’attacco

E ‘estremamente importante capire come funzioni il malware SoakSoak essendo WordPress una delle piattaforme di pubblicazione Web più popolari e ampiamente utilizzate. Capire come funziona, può aiutare a prevenire la compromissione del vostro sito WordPress.

Circa un sito su sei – quasi 60 milioni in tutto il mondo – è ospitato da WordPress. Il malware è stato in “incubazione” in tantissimi siti WordPress per parecchio tempo. Gli hackers ora sfruttano questo malware per iniettare il proprio codice dannoso in diversi file JavaScript. Questo significa che il danno potrebbe diventare anche più grave se non viene fermato per tempo.

In principio, gli aggressori agiscono sul file wp-includes/template-loader.php. Una volta che il file è stato compromesso, il codice JavaScript creato dagli aggressori è visibile in ogni pagina del sito infetto. Questo codice poi scarica il malware da un dominio remoto. Gli aggressori hanno iniziato modificando le loro tattiche e, utilizzando il malware SoakSoak, hanno anche attaccato altri JavaScript, infettando così un nuovo gruppo di siti web.

Google aveva fatto qualche passo per affrontare questo problema inserendo nella blacklist migliaia di quei siti che erano stati infettati da SoakSoak. Questa vulnerabilità è stata poi riparata dagli sviluppatori del plugin, ma i siti che non sono stati aggiornati sono ancora esposti a questi attacchi.

L’impatto

Il malware SoakSoak infetta le versioni più obsolete del plugin WordPress chiamato RevSlider. In sostanza, la vera vulnerabilità è nel plug-in di terze parti RevSlider. Questo plug-in è il più delle volte contenuto in temi WordPress che gli sviluppatori del sito WordPress scelgono di installare. Le versioni precedenti alla 4.2 sono quelle più prese di mira. Ora, il problema effettivo è che il plugin RevSlider è un plugin premium. Non può essere facilmente aggiornato da solo e ciò è un disastro per i proprietari dei siti. La maggior parte degli utenti non sono neanche consapevoli che questo plug-in è in dotazione nel loro temi WordPress.

Proprio come in molti casi di sicurezza di WordPress, il colpevole principale di questo scenario è il plugin. Questi plug-in, che sono molto vecchi sono insicuri e molto difficili da aggiornare al contrario del core di WordPress. Questo è uno dei motivi per cui è importante per gli utenti di WordPress aggiornare i propri sistemi con le ultime versioni di tutti i plugin in modo da evitare attacchi malware.

La soluzione
Che cosa si può fare per evitare al vostro sito WordPress di essere in pericolo? innanzitutto disinstallare tutti i plugin che non vengono utilizzati. A quanto pare, le menti dietro il Malware SoakSoak stanno  sfruttando le vulnerabilità esistenti nei plugin WordPress in quanto è il metodo più semplice di diffusione di malware attraverso siti WordPress. La maggior parte degli sviluppatori non aggiornano costantemente e controllano i plug-in che installano, e ciò li rende una facile porta per attaccare un sito web. Pertanto, è necessario assicurarsi di mantenere WordPress e i plugin associati aggiornati.
L‘aggiornamento o la disinstallazione dei plugin inutili è tra le migliori pratiche di sicurezza. Gli esperti di sicurezza hanno sempre consigliato di mantenere regolarmente aggiornati tutti i software e i driver. Gli amministratori di rete sono ben consapevoli del fatto che è meglio disinstallare i componenti aggiuntivi che rimangono inutilizzati e che possono esporre i loro server a rischi.

Cosa sono i bad bots

I bad bots o spambots sono programmi generati da computer che attaccano il tuo sito per rubare i tuoi dati. Essi possono anche eseguire operazioni specifiche come ricerca delle email, copia dei contenuti o semplicemente indicizzare le tue pagine nei loro motori di ricerca sconosciuti. Qualunque sia la ragione del loro attacco essi stanno semplicemente sovraccaricando le risorse del server e consumando banda preziosa.

Bloccare i bad bots con il file .htaccess

Lo vogliano o no i bots devono obbedire sicuramente al file .htaccess. Possiamo scrivere un elenco enorme di bad bots conosciuti e continuare ad aggiungere alla lista all’infinito, cercando nei log del nostro sito.

Joomla è uno dei più diffusi script utilizzati in rete ma molto spesso a causa di errate impostazioni o superficialità nell’installazione il nostro sito può essere oggetto di attacchi con cui vengono pubblicate shell, pagine mailer o altro, nella peggiore delle ipotesi il sito può essere compromesso irrimediabilmente.

Alcuni siti suggeriscono, per poter installare immediatamente e senza problemi joomla, di impostare i permessi 777 a tutte le cartelle e i files; non c’è niente di più sbagliato dal punto di vista della sicurezza poichè dette impostazioni possono permettere a chiunque di pubblicare/modificare files all’interno del sito…

I permessi andrebbero invece impostati (su hosting Linux) correttamente nel seguente modo:

Permessi delle cartelle 755
Permessi della cartella images 707
Permessi della cartella images/stories 707

inoltre

• Evitare le estensioni e i temi che richiedono 777 (controllo completo) per l’esecuzione.
• Impostare il file configuration.php (nella radice del vostro sito) a  444 che lo rende non scribile. Se in seguito dovete apportare modifiche alla configurazione tramite l’amministratore, modificare temporaneamente le autorizzazioni per configuration.php a 644, fare i cambiamenti necessari e poi reimpostate le autorizzazioni di nuovo a 444.
